Sutton Foster (March 18, 1975) is primarily known for her work on the Broadway stage, where she originated roles like Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Janet van de Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical. Sutton went on to receive two Tony’s for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for Thoroughly Modern Millie and Anything Goes. Now, she is focusing on her drawings, which suggest a moment in time and a portrait of nature, just like her stage work. In fact, many of her prints are based on the characters she originated.
